Our team of dedicated volunteers are at the heart of what we do, providing education support and encouragement to children who need it most.

There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the smile on a child’s face when they are learning. You have the chance to play an important role in a child or young person’s life and ensure their future is bright.

The number of Inclusive Homework Club volunteers continues to grow, and their hard work and commitment mean together we support children from Primary 1 to Secondary school and beyond. Join our volunteer family today.

By volunteering for the Inclusive Homework Club, you will gain new skills and experiences, but most importantly you will make a difference to the lives of children and young people.

We currently recruit volunteers through the Volunteer Glasgow website at https://www.volunteerglasgow.org.

Q: ‘Why did you volunteer to be the committee treasurer in the Homework Club?’

'My reasons for joining the IHWC were mainly to provide this service to the community. It takes the pressure off parents who may need to work long hours or find it difficult to help their children with their school work. It also helps the children who may need extra support with language or other barriers to learning.'

Q: Why did you volunteer to be the committee treasurer in the Homework Club?

I volunteered to be in the inclusive homework committee because I have seen the dedication of the project manager Mrs. Firdaus Ahmed fully well. Another reason is, some of the students don’t have educated parents to help them with their homework and their parents don’t have money to employ private tutors, therefore, I decided to join to help in my small way
